A presentation was made last night to Cornwall City Council to update them on the plans for the RBC Cup National Junior A Hockey Championship that will be held in Cornwall May 3-11, 2008

Making a presentation to City Council makes everyone a bit nervous, and there is always a great deal of information to provide in a short period of time.

In my presentation, I did not mention two individuals who played a big role in our presentation to Hockey Canada officials in Calgary. Former Mayor Phil Poirier was part of that contingency. His presence proved to Hockey Canada the support of this community. Additionally, Tammy James, former Marketing Executive with the Cornwall Colts was also part of that presentation.

My apologies to both - it was an error on my part that I can only put down to being somewhat nervous.
