Pepsi, Loeb & Cornwall Colts Promote RBC Cup

It wasn't just an ordinary Saturday afternoon at the grocery store last week. Pepsi and Loeb Grocery Store in Cornwall is helping to promote the RBC Cup National Junior A Hockey Championship that will take place in Cornwall May 3rd to 11th, 2008 and invited the Cornwall Colts Players to come into the store to assist.

Shoppers were greeted by both Colts Players and Slapshot the Colts mascot. A few of the players even helped out at the cash by putting bagged groceries into customer carts and by slugging a few cases of Pepsi products into carts for other customers.

Plenty of autographed photos were handed out, and plenty of handshaking took place.

An afternoon of RBC Cup promotion is something the community sponsors such as Pepsi and Loeb will be undertaking in the coming weeks. The tournament will be here before we know it - have you bought your tickets yet?
