Cornwall to Host Pro-Bass Canada Classic Tournament

The Pro-Bass Canada Classic tournament will be held on September 19 & 20, 2008 on Lake St-Francis in Cornwall, Ontario. Lake St-Francis has a reputation of being one of the best lakes for bass fishing in North America.

The tournament will attract some of North America’s best fishermen, as it is a well known fact that the quality of fishing at this tournament is at international championship and professional levels. Fishermen from Quebec, Ontario, the USA and beyond are expected. The tournament is viewed as an economic generator by local fishermen, and is being supported by various local agencies, including Cornwall Economic Development, Team Cornwall and Cornwall and Seaway Valley Tourism.

The tournament will also feature a number of attractive prizes. Pro-Bass Canada will be giving away 3 Princecraft boats and trailers and 2 Mercury Motors (One for the 2008 Champions and 2 within the 2008 membership).

You do not have to be a member of Pro-Bass Canada to participate, however there are number of good reasons to join. If you enjoy fishing and wish to compete against other equally passionate fishermen, then you should join one of our tournaments.

Pro-Bass Canada is having a meeting this Sunday April 13th, 2008 at the Cornwall Ramada Inn at 11:00 am.

People will have the opportunity to learn more about the tournament as well as meet other enthusiastic fishermen, discuss the latest fishing techniques and exchange stories.
