Wally's Cafe - Big Laughs !

Audiences are in for a great time when they drop by WALLY’S CAFE, the hilarious comedy that opens the upcoming Season of Comedy at Upper Canada Playhouse. And dishing up the fun will be a stellar cast of three of The Playhouse audience’s favourite performers, Doug Tangney, AnnaMarie Lea and Susan Greenfield.

The hit comedy is by Sam Bobrick and Ron Clark who have written for such TV shows as BEWITCHED, THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW, GET SMART, GOMER PYLE and THE FLINTSTONES. In WALLY’S CAFE the audience meets Wally Murdock, a dreamer who convinces his reluctant wife, Louise, to move to the Nevada desert to turn a rundown diner into a successful business. They’re soon visited by Janet Cheshire, a star struck hitchhiker on her way to Hollywood. The audience visits this whacky trio in 1940, 1958 and 1981-forty years of hilarity in this funny and heart-warming comedy.

Wally’s Café plays June 12-July 6 with evening shows Tuesday through Saturday at 8PM and matinees Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday at 2PM. Call 613-543-3713 for tickets
