Family Fun Day at Crysler Park Marina

Crysler Park Marina, in Morrisburg on the beautiful St. Lawrence River, will host its sixth annual Open House and Family Fun Day on Saturday, July 12 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This is a must-see FREE event and is open to all members of the general public!

There will be fun for all ages at this annual event. Catch as many fish as you can on-site at the “Crysler Kids” fishing derby (sponsored by Canadian Tire in Morrisburg and Carpins in Ingleside) from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., with great prizes for total length of the day’s catch. Get up close and personal with snakes, lizards, tarantulas, scorpions, turtles and even a crocodile at the Little Ray’s Reptile Show. This hands-on show is always a favourite with the kids. The show starts at 3:00 p.m. and admission is free. All are welcome to participate in group games and activities between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. Entrance to this fun-filled event is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.

Refreshments and a variety of menu items will be available at the new Marker 72 Dockside Patio with sweeping view of the St. Lawrence River. Sit back, relax and watch the boats go by or have a cold drink and a snack. At 4 00 p.m. and again at 8:00 p.m., catch the live theatre production of “A Seaway Story”, performing at the new Ontario Power Generation Community Pavilion, just a few steps away from the Marina. Tickets can be purchased at the Marina and are just $20 for adults, $16 for seniors, and $12 for youths 5 to 17. Children 4 and under are FREE. This is an exhilarating and entertaining play that tells the drama of the Seaway and Power Project 50 years ago. A MUST SEE for all ages --- entertains as it educates.
