Art Exhibition at the Abbey

Painter Anne Barkley's solo exhibition of new work explores the complexity of simple abstract shapes and beautiful colours that will engage and challenge the imagination of the viewer. Barkley's paintings portray the pleasure of the physical and emotional intensity required to get to that place where the thinking process stops and intuition can have free reign.

"Anne Barkley: Solo at The Abbey" is the first in a series of exhibitions slated at the Abbey for the Arts during the upcoming season. The show opens October 30 and runs to November 12, 2008.

The Abbey for the Arts is located at 21489 Butternut Lane, Glen Nevis(North Lancaster), Ontario.
