Upper Canada Village Season Pass Price Reduced

With more and more people looking to vacation closer to home this summer, and to cater to locals who hold Upper Canada Village near and dear to their hearts, the St. Lawrence Parks Commission has just announced it is slashing the price of the Village’s popular “Passport to the Past” season’s pass this year. Now at only $30 per adult for a basic Passport, (with savings extended to student, youth and premium Passports) visitors will be able to frequent this award-winning attraction as often as they like for one low price, PLUS take advantage of additional meal and merchandise savings as well!

Why a Passport to the Past? With “stay-cations” becoming a growing style of vacation in the current economy, there are more reasons than ever to purchase a basic Passport to the Past at Upper Canada Village. Benefits of a basic Passport include unlimited visits to Upper Canada Village and the Battle of Crysler’s Farm Visitor Centre, 20% off admission for up to 2 guests, 50% off unlimited visits to Fort Henry, 10% off food purchases at Willard’s Hotel and 10% off at the Village Store. This season’s pass is of even greater value when considering all of the upcoming events at Upper Canada Village. Take in one or more of the three remaining 19th Century Wedding re-enactments taking place July 19, August 2 and August 30; participate in the two-day 1860s Election event on Saturday and Sunday, July 25 and 26; and learn about funeral rituals during the 19th Century Funeral event on August 22. September weekend events include the Family Fun Music and Arts Festival from September 5 to 7, Fall Gardens on September 12, the Fall Fair on September 19 and 20 and the Quilt Show on September 26 and 27.

Upper Canada Village’s Basic Passport to the Past, which last year sold for $35 per adult, $21 per student and $15 per child, are now being offered at only $30 per adult, $18 per student and $12 per child, making this an ideal family vacation package deal. For those interested in extending their unlimited visits to include the Village’s winter Alight at Night Festival, the site has also slashed pricing on its Premium Passport to the Past. At only $37 for a Premium Passport, that’s a 20% or $9 per adult savings off this year’s published $46 price tag. The savings continue, with Student Premium Passports reduced from $31 to $26 and Youth from $26 to $18.
