First Annual Waterfest in Cornwall !

The first annual Waterfest weekend is ready to blast off this weekend August 13th to 15th.

Events will kick off on Friday August 13th with a swim in the St. Lawrence River at 5:30 pm and then the refreshment gardens opening at 6pm.

Saturday August 14th will be exciting with the Dragon Boat Race at 8 am in the old Canal, balloon inflatables in the kids area from 11am to 5pm (beside the RCAF wing), kids events at various locations from 11am to 2pm, a Tug Of War at 11 am, the dunk tank from 11am to 4pm and then the Bath Tub Derby at 4pm again in the canal area. The night will close off with a parade of boats 7 to 9pm from Grey's Creek to the Air Force Wing in Lamoureux Park and of course the refreshment gardens at 6pm.

And it does not end there ... Sunday will also be busy with the Water Run at 10 am, the Tubie Race at 12 noon and the Dragon Egg Drop at 1pm. All Sunday activities will be in the old canal area.
