Dragon Boat Race: Waterfest 2017
Cornwall, ON – August 6 2017 —
“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself.” -Henry Ford
This is what dragon boat racing is all about – literally and figuratively. A dragon boat is a 40 foot boat, powered by 20 paddlers, a drummer and a steersperson, and it’s all about teamwork. They’ve been around for over 2,000 years, and dragon boat races are as popular as ever.
Come join us for Dragon Boat Racing during Waterfest 2017.
Waterfest debuted in Cornwall in 2010 and this year will be the 7th Annual Dragon Boat Race of the area. There will be local music entertainment at the Waterfest stage which will be announced soon.
