Cornwall & Seaway Valley Tourism organizes a Doors Open event one weekend each year in September. It is part of similar program operating throughout Ontario.

Doors Open is a celebration of community heritage. On one weekend in September, residents and visitors are invited to celebrate their community heritage by visiting heritage sites, churches and other sites, many of which are not normally open to the public. Entry to the sites is free for everyone.
