Along the banks of the Raisin River is one of the oldest homes in Ontario. This five-bay Georgian-style log house was constructed for Sir John Johnson between 1784 and 1792. With its associated grist and saw mills, the house became a focus for the community of United Empire Loyalists and later, for the fur traders of the North'west Company.

Special exhibits featuring the lives of Loyalist children, information, games, clothing, etc.

Sur les rives de la rivière Raisin, vous trouverez une des plus anciennes maisons en Ontario. Cette maison en bois rond, à cinq baies, de style géorgien a été construite par Sir John Johnson entre 1784 et 1792. Avec son moulin à broyer le grain et sa scierie, la maison est devenue un phare pour les collectivités des Loyalistes (United Empire Loyalists) et plus tard, pour les commerçants de fourrures.de la Compagnie du Nord-Ouest.
