Ontario Power Generation's (OPG) new St. Lawrence Power Development Visitor Centre is located on the north bank of the St. Lawrence River, just east of the Robert H. Saunders Generating Station, in the west end of Cornwall, Ontario.

This 13,000 square foot, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building recounts the fascinating history of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project and addresses its impact on specific communities such as the Mohawk community of Akwesasne and the Lost Villages.

Displays on OPG's power generation sources, water safety, the American eel, video presentations and high tech games for young people complete the visitor experience in this state-of-the-art Centre. Topped off by a spectacular view of the downstream side of the Moses-Saunders dam, this Centre provides a fresh and unique experience for the visitor to Cornwall with its exciting and informative new exhibits.
