Raisin River Canoe Race

The Raisin River Canoe Race is one of the longest canoe races in Eastern Ontario.

First started in 1973, the 30-kilometre race runs from St. Andrews to Williamstown. The race is always held during the spring freshet when water levels are high and flows are favourable for paddlers. The annual RRCA event has become an immensely popular rite of spring for both residents and visitors to the area.

Register now!

For paddlers looking to participate in this year’s race, a pre-registration link can be found on the RRCA’s website (click here).

In-person registration may be available on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on availability, on race day beginning at 9 am at St. Andrew’s Catholic School.

Additional information

The public is encouraged to check the RRCA’s social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) and website for upcoming event details and announcements.
