A new culinary experience is coming to the historic Stonehouse building on the NAV CENTRE property.

Cornwall’s diverse dining scene will be further enhanced with the opening of the Stonehouse Lounge and Grill. Set to open Saturday, February 8th, the menu – designed by NAV CENTRE’s Executive Chef Boopathi Venkatesan and Sous Chef Gabriel Asselin – will feature unique and delectable options, including shareable appetizers, grilled steaks, fresh fish and a range of chef’s specials.

In this relaxing and inviting environment, guests will also be able to enjoy a great wine selection, high end spirits, local draft beer and crisp cocktails exclusive to the Stonehouse.

“It has been a dream to expand the use of the Stonehouse and open this dining experience to Cornwall,” said Ian Bentley, Director Conference Services and Food & Beverage. “We’re beyond excited that it’s finally happening. Cornwall residents are always looking for new and unique dining experiences, and I can tell you we have something special in the works for guests at the recently renovated Stonehouse Lounge and Grill. I’m also extremely excited to introduce Cornwall to our new Stonehouse and Jet Set Pub Manager, Christopher Cram, who will be relocating to the city bringing his experience from Jasper, Edmonton and the Toronto area. Chris along with the Stonehouse Chef, Gabriel Asselin, are set to showcase this truly remarkable building.”

The historical 1850s-era Stonehouse Lounge and Grill will be open for a three-month trial basis on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights from 5 pm to 11 pm. The NAV CENTRE will continue to offer the executive retreat and meeting space during the day to clients.

To make reservations, please call 613-936-5444.
