Poutine Feast is back after last year’s success!

Details

When: August 8th – August 11th
Hours: Thursday – Saturday: 11am-9pm, Sunday: 11am-7pm
Where: Lamoureux Park
Admission: Free

Poutine Feast is a four-day festival that is set to start on Thursday August 8th and end on Sunday August 11th. If you don’t already know, poutine is a glorious Canadian dish made of a mashup of fries, gravy and cheese curds – it looks and tastes unreal! If you love poutine, or if you have always wanted to try it, there will be a lot of it in Cornwall this weekend!

The festival will feature approximately 10 vendors from near and far serving up tasty creative poutines, yummy donuts and more. Although there will be the classic cheese, gravy and curds poutine, there will also be cheeseburger poutines, pulled pork poutines, and other incredible sounding poutine-masterpieces! So, at this point, you’re probably thinking – “who are the vendors?” Well, there will be six poutine vendors: The Upper Deck, BBQ Babes, Fat Le’s Chips Stand, Almighty Cheese, Herberts Fries and Ed’s Fries. There will also be three dessert vendors: Mrs. Mini Donuts, Mr. Swirl and Miss Ellie’s Lemonade. Herberts Hot Dogs will be offering classic food truck fare.

The free admission event will also feature activities scattered throughout the park along with catchy music booming from the bandshell. There will also be options available if you’re a vegan, vegetarian, or if you’re gluten-free.

With a beautiful weekend ahead and the breathtaking waterfront park as a setting, Poutine Feast is hoping the event will draw thousands of attendees from both near and far. The hope is that this event will continue to grow, year after year.

This year, Poutine Feast is encouraging everyone to bring their own reusable forks/ and or straws to help reduce the use of plastic waste. If you happen to forget to bring a fork, head over to the Cornwall Tourism Visitor Centre to purchase a reusable cutlery set for only $3.00.
