Gordon Lightfoot Returns to Cornwall
Cornwall, ON – October 23, 2014 – One of the most influential artists of all time, Gordon Lightfoot, is set to perform at the lovely Aultsville Theatre in Cornwall on Friday, November 21.
Inspiring legendary artists such as Bob Dylan, Jimmy Buffet and The Guess Who, to name only a few, Gordon Lightfoot is the recipient of 15 Juno Awards, and has been nominated for 5 Grammy Awards. His work has transcended generations and genres and he is known as one of the most celebrated artists in our nation’s history.
Inducted into The Canadian Music Hall of Fame, The Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame, The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame, as well as the U.S. Songwriters Hall of Fame, Lightfoot’s resume speaks volumes to the influence his work has had on the industry across the globe.
Lightfoot’s incomparable voice is recognized by music lovers everywhere, and hits such as “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald,” “Sundown,” and “If You Could Read My Mind” have gained him notoriety the world over.
