Here is a fun and eclectic tour that will expose your group to Eastern Ontario Festivals, Art & Theatre.
DAY 1
A leisurely breakfast at your hotel and then a visit to the Downtown or Le Village shopping districts where you can browse through the many specialty shops or take in the displays at the Cornwall Regional Art Gallery and Logan's Art Gallery located in the historic Cline House.
Plan to spend the late part of your morning relaxing with your group while touring the waterfront and Downtown areas. Your guide will treat you to many stories of the history of the region as you view 12 outdoor heritage murals.
As the lazy hours of the afternoon roll around, board the bus for a 25 minute scenic drive to the hamlet of Morrisburg. Dine at a quaint rural restaurant or at the MacIntosh Inn, famous for its fabulous buffet! Whatever your choice, you'll be only minutes from Upper Canada Playhouse - a professional summer theatre housed in a converted toothbrush factory - talk about unique! Curtain time is 8:00 pm.
DAY 2
Breakfast at your hotel and board the bus for Auld Kirktown Arts & Crafts Shoppe (Canada's Retailer of The Year in 1998), The Cottage Blue and The Jewellery Factory Outlet. The 20 minute ride will go by quickly if you take the waterfront route. Your group will certainly spend the majority of the morning at this location!
