Memorabilia and photos of the six villages lost in 1958 during the flooding of the St. Lawrence Seaway make
this museum unique.
New towns were settled, while parts of others were moved to dry ground,
establishing new communities. Morrisburg's business area was relocated, Iroquois was re-established, while other
villages slipped beneath the waves.
In 10 heritage buildings the story is told through pictures, artifact displays and a video presentation.
