A National Historic site located along the banks of the Raisin River. The Manor House was built for Sir John Johnson between 1784 and 1792. The home provided a focus for the United Empire Loyalists and later for the fur traders of the North West Company. This five-bay Georgian style log home, one of the oldest in Ontario, houses the Glengarry Archives. The collection includes Glengarry Land Record Abstracts, legal instruments for land transfers, Glengarry Church Record Indices of Baptisms, Marriages, Burials, Local History books and many photos and maps. Open year round Monday 10am - 2pm and daily May to Sept
