The battlefield memorial tells the story of the November 11th, 1813 battle fought just east of John Crysler’s farm, in which a badly outnumbered British-Canadian Army defeated an American force, ending the 1813 invasion of Canada. The story is told through an audio visual presentation, an extremely detailed mural and artifacts displayed in the memorial building. The Memorial is located on County Road #2, immediately adjacent to Upper Canada Village.
