Cornwall Jail

Built in 1834, the Jail operated until 2002 when it was closed as part of a province wide restructuring. The cell blocks, common areas, exercise yard and visitation area have been maintained as they were when they were populated by inmates sentenced to jail time.
Tours of the Jail are available. Tours are self-guided and visitors will receive a 12 page booklet that will help them explore each of the 22 major areas of the Jail.
