Montreal Canadiens Alumni coming to Cornwall
The Montreal Canadiens Alumni Tour, presented by Canadian Tire, will be coming to Cornwall on Friday, February 7th to take on a team of local hockey alumni.
Stéphane Richer, Chris Nilan, Mathiew Dandenault, Patrice Brisebois, Richard Sévigny and many more notable Canadiens players from days past will take to the ice for an exciting night of fun at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with the Montreal Canadiens Alumni to bring this unique event to Cornwall,” said Janice Robinson, Facility Rental Coordinator. “It’s going to be an exciting night of hockey and there will also be a number of interactive opportunities for superfans to get up close with their favourite Canadiens alumni.”
Game time is 7 pm and additional details on participating players will be announced shortly.
“The Montreal Canadiens Alumni team is composed of some of the most loved players in Habs history,” said Brian Da Silva of the Montreal Canadiens Alumni. “We’re expecting a great crowd and a great night in Cornwall. It’s a strong fan base for the Canadiens and there’s a close relationship between the city and the team, with Cornwall’s Newsy Lalonde being one of the original stars of the Habs.”
