About Cornwall & Seaway Valley Tourism
Cornwall & Seaway Valley Tourism works with tourism businesses to promote Cornwall & the Seaway Valley as a visitor and convention destination. The office provides visitors with detailed
information on attractions, accommodations, shopping, dining, festivals and events.
The organization is an independant non profit corporation supported by the City
of Cornwall and the United Counties of Stormont Dundas and Glengarry, driven by
its membership and guided by an elected Board of Directors.
Members
Cornwall & Seaway Valley Tourism presently has 175 members, with representation from the accommodation, attraction, food service and retail sectors of the industry in Cornwall and the Seaway Valley. We also continue to develop and identify cross promotional opportunities with other regional partners such as the St. Lawrence Parks Commission, the 1000 Islands St. Lawrence Seaway Group and the Ontario East Travel Association.
Marketing Plans
Cornwall & Seaway Valley Tourism undertakes a diverse yet aggressive marketing plan that includes profiles in several leading tourism guides in Ontario and Northern New York State, as well as participation in several trade shows. One of the goals of the marketing plan is to leverage co-operative marketing strategies that will have a stronger impact on potential visitors, thereby increasing the economic growth of the tourism industry.
