Graveyard Golf

It’s going to be a spooktacular time at Archie’s Family Golf Centre this fall.

The Cornwall institution is gearing up to host the third season of Graveyard Golf starting on Friday, October 12th. The eerie event will run daily right up until Sunday, October 28th, giving residents and visitors plenty of time to enjoy a scare leading up to Halloween.

Graveyard Golf sees the grounds of Archie’s transformed into a Halloween haven complete with live actors. Visitors are challenged to put their bravery to the test in a haunted mini-putt experience.

“It’s a chance to experience Archie’s in a fun new way,” said Carol Ann Baxter, owner of Archie’s. “We’ve had a great turnout the first two years and we are hoping this year will be even bigger and better.”

Visitors to Graveyard Golf will also be supporting a good cause at the same time, with a portion of the proceeds going to the United Way of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry.

“This is such a great out of the box initiative from a local business that will allow the community and tourists to experience a Cornwall landmark in a whole new way,” said Meagan Bingley, Director of Operations with United Way. “Not only will it be a tonne of fun, but it will also help change lives in our community.”

Graveyard Golf runs from Friday, October 12th to Sunday, October 28th. Hours of operation will 11 am to 8 pm from Sunday to Thursday and 11 am to 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.

All ages are welcome however it’s recommended small children come during daylight hours.

The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children 13 and under.

Ticket pre-sales will begin on September 15th and can be purchased at Archie’s.
